Inmigrants, Inc

Inmigrants! the meaning of this word has changed drastically through the years, and here are some reasons why: to make a little history, after the second war, mostly europeans arrived in the USA, they were then received by the country with open arms, and as a fact of this, it was a poem writen on the statue of Liberty that glorifies the issue.
Inmigrants were not a problem before, inmigrants always arrived in the USA, except that for some races, the meaning wasn't the same, as to the mexican inmigrants or chinese who arrived to work at the California orangeries centuries ago. Around the 1980's due to a presidential decree, the doors were open to maseloads of cubans arriving by thousands daily Then the Haitian inmigrants who have always been treated diferently by politians and lawmakers. then the law wet fet dry feet came into efect, and even cubans are send back to cuba, no matter the problems they have over there.Yes everything is politics or bad economics, but what about now with the Arizona Law? you might say that you don't care about any of these if you are not an inmigrant, right?but what about if you were? well I have a surprise for you: we all are inmigrants on this earth while we are on our journey. For some specks of destiny, I have lived in diferent countries and this may not be the last one for me. Every day I wish that I didn't land in here, but I came on wet foot like they said, "mojada"with the help of braceros who didn't charge me a penny, on a cold night, with nothing on my back and no belongings to claim. Tha'ts how all the inmigrants who come here come, unanounced, in the darkness, wethout anything, and they come mostly to do the dirty jobs nobody else will do, to live like nobody else will, crowded under excruciating circumstances...
